I've been in the health and wellness world for almost 2 decades. My passion for supporting women over 40 comes from my deep desire to help women see that they don't need to feel like crap - it's not normal! But also from a slightly selfish place...as I crested 40, I realized that what had worked to keep me healthy and vibrant before wasn't working as well anymore and I wanted to dive deeper into what foods, supplements, lifestyle habits, and biohacks could help me and every other woman THRIVE through menopause and beyond.
Now, I'm LOVING being over 40 and I feel more vibrant, energetic, and full of life than I've ever felt before in my life. I can't wait to share my secrets with you as we go through this amazing journey together.
Growing up in Minnesota, I always knew I wanted to live somewhere warmer. As fate would have it, during my undergraduate years at the University of Wisconsin - Madison (Go Badgers!) while on the rowing team, I met this amazing man who is now my husband. (Bonus points for him being from California!)
I literally jumped at the opportunity to move to CA with him after finishing my B.S. in Biology and I fell in love with the warmer weather...half of the year at least! We actually lived in Lake Tahoe for a few years and became ski and snowboard instructors. After having our fun on the ski slopes, I attended Bauman College where I became a Certified Nutritionist.
We eventually got married and (very) soon after welcomed our first son, and then our second son into the family. These days, when I'm not working with clients as a nutrition and hormone coach, I spend my time as an unpaid Uber driver, personal chef and Organizer & Miracle Worker of the Family Google Calendar (that should be a degree in itself!)
Some days she's a broken mess.
