13 Healthy Snacks a Nutritionist Buys on Amazon
Have you ever wondered where a Nutritionist shops for their foods and what they buy? Wouldn't it be fun to be a fly on their shopping cart and see all the decisions they make? (Like, do they really not buy a candy bar at the checkout line when they are starving?)
I may not be able to offer you the opportunity to morph into a fly, but I can show you what healthy foods and snacks this nutritionist buys on Amazon! (And just FYI, I do not buy the candy bar at the checkout because I already have one of these healthy snacks stashed in my purse!)
We all love making things easier, and I am no exception. If I can save myself a trip to the grocery store and save money then I consider that a HUGE win. Buying healthy food is often more expensive, so I'm always on the lookout for ways to save a dime here and a dollar there.

Healthy Snacks on Amazon
I've curated this list (and spent hours sifting through so many choices on Amazon) to give you a healthy list of snack options that have:
No artificial dyes, colors, flavors, or sweeteners
No added sugars
No gluten
No dairy
No grains
No soy
I know it's hard to find these types of snacks so I've done all the hard work for you! Here are 13 great choices to add to your pantry (or purse, as is in my case)!
RX BARS
So many flavors, so few ingredients. This clean eating, healthy snack is high in protein and low in crap. Seriously, just look at the package, all the ingredients are clearly listed in bold! All pronounceable, all real foods.
Note: RX also makes nut butter packets! Great for snacks and travel!
The Good Bean Roasted Chickpeas
These come in a variety of delicious flavors and one serving has as much protein as almonds, as much fiber as two cups of broccoli and as much folate as three cups of spinach!
CHOMPS Grass Fed Mini Original Beef Jerky Sticks
This is definitely one of those things that you can always find in my purse, my kids' sports bags and school bags. I love the "mini" size for me and the kids, although my husband prefers the regular size ones. Made with grass-fed beef, this is a high-quality and high protein snack for busy, active people of all ages. It's also a nice option for keeping in the car, and it won't melt on hot summer days!
LARABAR Fruit & Nut bars
With a variety of choices for flavors, I guarantee you will find one you like. With no more than 5 or 6 ingredients in most of these bars, they are so simple you could make a copycat version at home (another blog post on that coming soon).
I especially like the mini size ones for kids. If you want to get some extra greens in, check out the Fruit & Greens version. It has 1/4 cup of greens in each bar! LARABAR is always gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, soy-free, dairy-free, and with no sugar added.
Veggie-Go's Organic Fruit and Veggie Strip
Whole fruit, whole vegetables and…nothing else. Snacking doesn’t get much realer than that. Fuel up with these chewy snack strips crafted with no added sugar and all the power of the organic, non-GMO produce inside.
Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers
I have an unnatural obsession with these crackers, they are that good! Whether you are eating grain-free, gluten-free, Paleo, or no diet at all - you need to try these!
My favorite way to eat them is with cream cheese and smoked salmon as a midday snack. Now, if only I could get my husband to order some directly to his office instead of taking all my boxes from home!
SeaSnax Roasted Seaweed
I've searched long and hard to find a seaweed snack that is not made with heavily processed, refined, inflammatory vegetable oils, and here it is! SeaSnax are lightly roasted with olive oil, lightly salted with sea salt and taste so amazing.
You have to watch my little guy chow down on them if you don't think kids will like them...
Organic Kale Chips
I can't believe how long I had to look on Amazon to find kale chips with no added sugar or vegetable oils to add to my 'healthy snacks on Amazon' post! There were so many that I disqualified!
While these might be a little pricey per package, if you want a healthy version of kale packaged kale chips, this is a great choice. If you want to save money, then get yourself in the kitchen and make them yourself! (BTW- they are so easy to make!) Here's my recipe for Kale chips you will want to eat! (and easy to make!)
Organic Pistachios
Nuts and seeds are a great healthy snack choice. However, I did specify 'organic' because peanuts, cashews, pistachios, and some other nuts are often flagged as having higher pesticide loads than other nuts and seeds.
If you buy 'shell on' pistachios, make sure to check out this adorable double dish pistachio bowl with a bottom reservoir for the shells. I can't believe I never saw this before! (If anyone needs a birthday gift idea for me....this!)
Navitas Organic Superfood Power Snacks
Surprisingly sweet, but with no added sugars, you won't even realize how many superfoods you are consuming in one small bite. (It's 7 superfoods, btw.) Great for sports training, road trips, hikes, lunch boxes, picnics, and mid-afternoon snacks.
Go Raw Sprouted Bites
Not hungry enough for a bar? Try a bite! These sprouted bites, with 2g protein per serving, give you the nutrition and energy you need to fuel your day. Made with only 5 simple, organic ingredients, minimally processed, nut-free (that's hard to find in 'healthy snacks'), and naturally sweet. I love that they use sprouted seeds as well, better for you digestion!
Justin's Classic Peanut Butter Squeeze Packs
Most individual nut butter packets will have added sugars. Justin's classic peanut butter is one of the very few I have found that doesn't have added sugars, isn't too dry, and actually tastes good!
These are great for travel, throwing in purses, or having in your car. Eat it as is or squeeze onto crackers, celery, apple slices, or just about anything!
Spindrift Sparkling Water
Some people may not assign sparkling water to the "snack" category, but often when we are hungry, we are actually just thirsty. Instead of grabbing for some extra calories, why not first try a can of sparkling water as your healthy snack and see if that satisfies you. If not, then you can always reach for one of the previously mentioned healthy snacks.
Healthy snacks you can buy on Amazon - Part 2??
If you like these suggestions then leave a comment! I can put together a Part 2 if you want me to...
Also, if you have found some healthy snacks on Amazon that are free of artificial colors, dyes, sweeteners, added sugars, and other crap then let me know in the comments! I would love to add them to a list (part 2?!?)
Happy Snacking,
