This is How You Make a Lunch Box Go From Okay to Amazing!
Hey there Mama! I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Everyone thinks the lunch box I pack every day for my child is amazing but they can't quite figure out how I make it so cute and fun.
Here's one of the secrets in my toolbox: accessorize! I stock up on really cute lunch box accessories and all of a sudden my somewhat ordinary lunchboxes look super fun and enticing!

Let me show you some examples:
Carrots go from ordinary to extraordinary with fun food picks.
Olives can look dark and uninviting to a child until you turn them into characters from outer space!
From plain tomatoes to a friendly zoo gathering!
"Ugh, not broccoli" becomes "he he he look at my broccoli friends!"

You can find all of these fun food picks on Amazon. It's amazing how a simple food pick can really change the look and perception of various foods.
Here is a list of my favorite food picks that I use in the lunchboxes for my kids:

I also love to use silicone muffin cups and silicone "pods" from PlanetBox to either separate foods or fill up some space. Some kids eat less at lunch than others and these accessories can take up a little bit more space in a large lunchbox to make it seem full, but not as overwhelming.

I recently created a series of lunch box jokes and notes and my kids are LOVING them! Each day my 8-year-old asks if I remembered to put one in his lunch. He and his friends are all benefitting from these little cards. Laughing is healthy too!
