For all smoothies, I really do think that a high quality, powerful blender is a total game changer. This is the one our family has been using for more than 6 years now and it has changed our lives. We make smoothies (and bulletproof coffee) daily, which means we generally eat healthier and include more greens in our diet. Even our kids will ask for smoothies. (Their favorite is No Fail Chocolate Kale Smoothie but I didn't include that one in this list because although it has greens in it, it doesn't look green!)
You're going to want to invest in a super-high quality blender at some point if you haven't already. It seriously changes smoothies forever...in a good way. This is the one we use. (Or buy on Amazon). I talk more about why having a high-powered blender is so important in this post, The Formula for How to Make a Great Smoothie.
If you buy this amazing machine that I use daily, I may get a small commission which will help me to keep posting more smoothie recipes for you to use with your new Vitamix ;-)
My All-Time Favorite: My Everyday Green Smoothie with 5 Servings of Veggies and Fruit
Just look at the color, it's amazing...and it tastes amazing too! Of course, it is my creation so I had to put it first, but I truly think it is the best smoothie that marries nutrients and taste. Not too bitter, not too sweet.
Super Simple 5 Ingredient Green Smoothie from Culinary Hill blog

Super simple, what's not to love about that? You can easily have almost all of these ingredients on hand at all times in the freezer. Some people even freeze their avocados. Just make sure your blender is powerful enough to handle all of that frozen food.
PRO Tip: sometimes when I use only frozen ingredients in a smoothie I actually add hot water to help the blending process and because I don't like super cold smoothies.
A Green Smoothie with Peanut Butter? Yes!

Jacqui at DishingDelish.com is on to something here! I never thought to incorporate peanut butter with yogurt and spinach. Fantastic! This looks like it would be a great post-workout smoothie or a breakfast meal-replacement smoothie for those on the go.
Tip: I would use full-fat yogurt instead of non-fat yogurt to keep you satisfied as well as helping to balance blood sugar levels with healthy fats. Don't be scared of healthy fats! Also, if you have a peanut allergy or sensitivity you could easily substitute any other nut butter like almond, cashew or hazelnut.
Matcha Try Something New? Mint Matcha Smoothie

I have never been more inspired to try matcha (which is the unsteeped, raw ground green tea leaf) in my smoothies until now. Cheryl at Lean Green Nutrition Fiend has created a healthy masterpiece here.
Just beware that matcha, just like other green tea, contains caffeine so maybe don't sip this green concoction too late in the day, unless you are gearing up for a wild night.

I realize that while some of us are transitioning into spring cleansing mode, some of us are still battling winter colds. If you are in the latter, first of all, that sucks. Now get thee to the kitchen and whip one of these cold-buster citrus green smoothies up! You will feel better just in time to join the St. Paddy's Day craziness.
With turmeric, (raw) honey, ginger, and loads of vitamin C, this healthy smoothie by Marzia at LittleSpiceJar.com packs a mean green immune boosting punch!
PRO Tip: If you can't find blood orange Greek yogurt you can simply use plain (Greek or whole milk) yogurt or use plain yogurt with some blood orange juice squeezed in. And use raw honey for the most immune health benefits.
